Prince of Peace

This peice was done during a very hard time in my life where I learned to continually fight for peace. I put on worship music one night and began painting - I saw a fiery face of a lion emerging. As I began painting His eyes I felt a sense of calm amidst the storms of life. This lion was not roaring in anger but tranquil. He began to come to life with fire and power but also with stillness and perfect peace. Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah and He is our Prince of Peace. He is all powerful - His love is an all consuming fire - and His gaze is fixed on you. Trust in Him and allow Him be your defender.
